Our Team

Ohana Healthcare Partners brings together experienced healthcare, behavioral health, operational, and organizational consultants with expertise across strategy, transformation, program development, workflow optimization, leadership support, and healthcare modernization.

Our work is grounded in real-world operational experience and a collaborative consulting approach designed to help organizations navigate growth, change, and long-term transformation.

Senior Expertise. Curated Network. One Relationship.

Ohana Healthcare Partners operates through a curated network of senior healthcare, operational, data, and technology leaders who come together under Ohana’s coordination to deliver integrated solutions.

This model gives organizations something most consulting firms cannot offer: deep specialization across multiple domains without the overhead and fragmentation of a large firm — while maintaining a single, accountable point of contact throughout the engagement.

Our collaborative approach allows organizations to access the right expertise at the right time while ensuring strategy, implementation, communication, operations, and long-term organizational goals remain aligned.

Eleanor Castillo Sumi — Founder & CEO, Ohana Healthcare Partners

Dr. Eleanor Castillo Sumi is a nationally recognized healthcare innovator and licensed psychologist (BCBA-D) with more than 25 years of experience leading systems transformation across behavioral health, education, and managed care.

She brings deep expertise in integrating behavioral science, operational strategy, and responsible AI to help organizations modernize infrastructure, improve outcomes, and reduce workforce burden.

As Founder and CEO of Ohana Healthcare Partners, Eleanor advises health plans, public agencies, and community-based organizations on implementing scalable, interoperable systems that support whole-person care. Her leadership spans reforming child and adolescent mental health systems, designing school-based multi-tiered behavioral health models, and advancing culturally responsive care for rural and underserved communities.

Eleanor has led large-scale digital transformation initiatives that expanded care coordination and data visibility without increasing staffing demands. Her work focuses on turning complex policy into practice — across initiatives such as California’s Medi-Cal transformation — by aligning technology, governance, and cross-sector collaboration to advance health equity, sustainability, and long-term organizational resilience.

Eleanor Gillian Villanueva — Founder & CEO, Datana | Data Analytics & Business Intelligence

Gillian Villanueva is a data analytics and business intelligence leader specializing in transforming complex healthcare data into actionable insights.

She leads Ohana’s data analytics practice, helping organizations build modern data infrastructure — including Azure data warehouses, Power BI dashboards, and ETL pipelines — that enables leadership to make smarter decisions, improve outcomes, and demonstrate impact to payers and funders.

Keith Kim — Founder & CEO, Systekk | Healthcare IT & Infrastructure

Keith Kim brings deep expertise in managed services, cybersecurity compliance, and cloud infrastructure to Ohana’s technology practice.

He helps organizations build reliable, secure technology foundations that support clinical operations, meet regulatory requirements, and scale with organizational growth. Keith leads IT vendor governance and managed services coordination for Ohana’s multi-vendor engagements.

Michael York — Principal, Securem Advisors | Cybersecurity

Michael York leads Ohana’s cybersecurity partnership practice, providing organizations with the security assurance, risk assessment, and compliance guidance they need to protect client data, meet HIPAA requirements, and build trust with payers and partners.

Ohana’s approach to cybersecurity is grounded in coordinated oversight — ensuring security considerations are embedded into every engagement rather than addressed as an afterthought.

Jeremy Prader — Principal, Cheap Squad | Managed IT Services

Jeremy Prader leads Ohana’s managed IT services practice, delivering day-to-day IT support, helpdesk operations, and infrastructure management for organizations that need reliable, HIPAA-compliant technology operations.

His team helps ensure the systems Ohana designs and implements are supported with the operational rigor needed to function reliably over time.

A Collaborative Network of Healthcare & Operational Expertise

Ohana Healthcare Partners operates through a curated network of senior healthcare, behavioral health, operational, strategy, data, and technology leaders who work together under Ohana’s coordination to deliver integrated consulting and transformation support.

Our team combines strategic insight, operational expertise, and implementation leadership to help organizations strengthen systems, improve coordination, and support sustainable growth.

This collaborative model gives organizations access to specialized expertise across strategy, operations, organizational transformation, workflow optimization, program development, data and reporting, and technology modernization — all through a single coordinated partnership.

Practical Expertise Grounded in Real-World Experience

Our team understands the realities healthcare organizations face because our experience extends beyond consulting into direct operational leadership, behavioral health services, organizational strategy, implementation support, and community-based care environments.

We believe successful consulting should be practical, collaborative, and aligned with the long-term mission of the organizations we serve.

Rather than applying generic frameworks, we work alongside organizations to help strengthen operations, improve coordination, support sustainable growth, and create systems that continue delivering value long after implementation is complete.
